My name is Ana Villagomez-Salazar.\u00a0 I’ve been working since I was 15 years old.\u00a0 I started with a program Workforce had which I can’t remember the name.\u00a0 I have worked at different schools through out the\u00a0years.\u00a0 My first school was Millview in the after school program which back then was called Club YES.\u00a0 Then I went to Lincoln elementary with the title Library Media Technician.\u00a0 Was there for 3 school years and then was transferred to Pershing Elementary with the position of Librarian.\u00a0 Again there I was for another 3 years and then was offered\u00a0a position at Madera Adult.\u00a0 I’ve been here since 2011.\u00a0 I want to work at an adult school because I like to help people.\u00a0 We all deserve a second chance and this is the place for many of our students.\u00a0 No matter what the circumstances are of which they didn’t finish their education here is a place where they can accomplish that.\u00a0 I love to see when our students finish either their HSD or HiSET program.\u00a0 It makes me feel good that I was a little part of that accomplishment.\u00a0 I want to keep working at an Adult school to see our community get a better education.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
