Hello, my name is Brenda Esteves and I was born and raised here in Madera, CA. I have been working for Madera Unified School District since January 2021 where I was a School Office Technician at George Washington Elementary School for over 2 years. Prior to that, I had worked in the medical field around Fresno, but was soon inspired by family already working for the district to transition into the school setting.
I thought it would be really cool to be part of a school and be around students and teachers!
I sure was not wrong about that!
Moving up from a School Office Technician to a Registrar has been a very huge accomplishment for me! (Alongside joining the district of course!!)
At Madera Adult School, I love that I get to experience how adult students are given a second chance at their education because catching up on their High School credits and obtaining their High School diploma are vital to a bright future! As a Registrar for MAS, it’s great being able to assist adult students with their transcripts.
It’s a very neat and rewarding experience and I know there’s a lot to learn!
Overrall, I feel blessed to serve the school district I attended and graduated from! (MSHS, Class of 2013!!)
Knowing this, I know I made the best decision to come work alongside hardworking members of the district. I love that I am contributing in MUSD and making a positive difference for our students.
My experience here has been amazing and at Madera Adult School, I hope to continue to learn and grow throughout the years to come.
