(559) 675-4425
Adela Anzaldo has worked at Madera Adult School for 16 years, teaching ESL and HiSET classes to adult learners. She is also the Department Chair for the Madera County Jail and HiSET Programs. Currently, she teaches English and Spanish HiSET classes at the Madera County Jail and has a successful graduating rate of inmates receiving their High School Equivalency Certificates. Adela enjoys teaching adults because she likes to give the opportunity of a second chance to those individuals that couldn’t finish their high school education. It is self-gratifying to see growth, progress, and success from an underprivileged population that didn’t think they could accomplish their educational goals. The inmates at the Madera County Jail appreciate being given that second chance by a dedicated, encouraging, and hardworking teacher who ensures each student receives the best education.
