I’m Fabiola Sanchez, I come from a family of 6 2 boys and 4 girls, I’m the second to last of the family. I was born in Jalisco Mexico and immigrated to the USA when I was 8 months old and lived in Watsonville CA (Santa Cruz County) until July 2020 and decided to move to Madera CA to buy a beautiful home in a great community Riverstone. I have 2 boys: Jared, 12th grade & Adrian, 10th grade, and 1 girl, Mia, 9 months old. My boys attend Liberty High School and my daughter is at home with her dad. Daycare is an issue at the moment because we don’t have family here to help us and my husband doesn’t want daycare because Mia won’t get the attention and care she needs. My husband has been home with our daughter since she was 2 months old and “yes” she’s daddy’s girl!
I work for Pajaro Valley Unified School District as an Administrative Assistant and finally after 2 years of applying for various Districts here in the valley, I got hired at Furman High as the Attendance Secretary and am now promoted to Registrar here at Adult School and Furman High. I love coming to work every day and I’m still learning as I go and I will always ask for help when I need it.
Working for an alternative education is great because this is the place where we get a second chance to complete our high school diploma or GED. I say we because I also completed my high school diploma from an alternative ed. Back then I didn’t realize how education was very important to be successful in life. Education is one of the main keys to bettering ourselves in education and family. I also completed my Associate’s Degree in Medical Assistant back in 2009. Grateful for the staff at the time I was in school for the encouragement and support they gave me at the time.
Hobbies: Relax in the community pool, Play soccer, and watch sports and movies.
